Board of Directors

AHSEF welcomes five new Board Members! Thank you to Susan Griffin, Ron Larson, Molly Matheson, Jean Savala and Lynne Tripathi for volunteering their time and energy to Analy High School. A fond farewell and many many thanks to 'graduating' members Sheila O'Brien and Cyrus Griffin.

Jane Krensky Co-Chair
Jane Krensky has lived in Sebastopol for the last 18 years with her partner Peggy Tourje. Their son Joe, is a senior at Analy and their daughter, Sophie, is a freshman. Jane is a fine art photographer. Jane has served on the Apple Blossom/Twin Hills Education Foundation as well as other numerous charitable organizations. She is an avid musician and tennis player.

Judy McCann Co-Chair
Judy McCann lives in Sebastopol with her husband Steve Fabian and their two children
Jay Fabian, a senior, and Audrey Fabian, a junior. She has been an active volunteer in the Sebastopol schools since her children began attending Park Side in 1997. Judy practices law in the areas of employee rights and civil rights. She is also an active mediator in all areas of the law. Besides spending time with her family and friends she loves reading and photography.


Ron Larson Vice Chair
Ron Larson and his family moved to Sebastopol from Minnesota in 2002. His wife Diane Davis is the program manager of counciling and prevention at West County Community Services and has recently joined the Site Council at Analy. Their two children are Zoe Davis, a freshman at Analy, and Kai Davis who is in the fifth grade at the Sebastopol Charter School. Ron owns a home repair and renovation business based in Sebastopol. Ron's first career was in the performing arts for twenty years. Ron began perfoming and teaching music as a junior in high school. As a classically trained trombone, baritone and tuba player he performed with the Minnesota Orchestra, Minnesota Opera, Childrens Theater of Minneapolis, Bob Hope, Leonard Slatkin, Les Brown, Gordan MacRae, Phillip Brunelle and the St. Paul Mounties Drum and Bugle Corps. He directed and performed with New World Brass, Barbeque Brass and the St. Anthony Brass Quintet. Ron has taught private music lessons to more than 200 youth and adult students. He has also directed numerous marching, jazz and concert bands and orchestras. Ron is pleased to have the opportunity to support the Foundation's mission at Analy.

Vicki Arden Treasurer
Vicki Arden is an Art educator and an advocate for Visual & Performing Arts in the public schools. Since completing her M.A. in Art Education in 1983 she has pursued a career in the field working with children in school settings, as well as teens and adults in psychiatric settings. Vicki has worked for the past five years with Oak Grove Union School District developing and administering the district Fine Arts Program. She has served on the Site Council of Twin Hills School, Friends of West County Schools for Measure K, and is currently on the board of Analy Bandwagon and chair for Analy's Blue & White Ball silent auction. Vicki's husband, John Arden, is a psychologist and author; they are the parents of Analy High School student Gabe Arden and Analy graduate Paul Arden.

Diana Gardner Rich Recording Secretary
Diana Rich moved to Sebastopol in 1999. She left behind a satisfying but demanding career as a corporate attorney and, sadly, many good friends. What she found in Sebastopol was beautiful weather, gorgeous countryside, a fabulous community, and more good friends! She reports that she has no regrets whatsoever. She lives here with her husband Daniel Rich, who is an ophthalmologist. They have two children, Ben and Alex Rich, and a sweet black dog named Flash. Ben attends Analy High School and Alex is enrolled at Brook Haven Middle School. Diana has filled her time with many volunteer activities since her arrival in Sebastopol, working with local youth sports (Little League and WESCO Soccer), and with the Sebastopol Union School District (Tri-School PTSA, Sebastopol Educational Foundation, and the Tri-School Fundraising Team). She also served on the Measure C Committee in 2001 (it passed!!) and is on the multi-school Folk Art for Schools Committee, which produces the Patrick Amiot Calendar. In 2005 Diana was chosen by the Sebastopol Area Chamber of Commerce as that year's recipient of its Service to Youth Award.

Pam Williams Corresponding Secretary
Pam Williams is a North Bay native and has lived in Sebastopol since 1988. She is a freelance writer and editor. Currently, she is editor of the Sonoma West Publishers' magazines, DISCOVERIES and Homes & Lifestyles. Pam and her husband Hugh have a son, Evan, who is a senior at Analy High School. Pam is on the Board of Directors for the Sebastopol Area Chamber of Commerce and has been a past President as well as a steering committee member for the Sebastopol Apple Blossom Festival. She has also served in volunteer capacities for the Sebastopol Union School District and youth soccer. In her free time she loves to play tennis and make quilts.

Kathleen Woolfe Fundraising Chair
Kathleen Woolfe grew up on the beaches of Southern California before she moved to Sonoma County in the early 70's. Finishing her degree at SSU she went on to start four of her own businesses, from retail, wholesale production to the service industry. She later acquired her Teaching Credential with plans to teach in Europe, but found her community in Sebastopol was more dear to her heart. Over the years she has volunteered for many non-profit organizations. Recently she traveled to Japan with the Sebastopol World Friends student cultural exchange program visiting Sebastopol's sister city, Yamauichi. For the last two years she has been fundraising for the Laguna Foundation to develop The Laguna Learning Center on the historic Stone Farm on Occidental Rd.. Her family enjoys living in Sebastopol, playing tennis and being a part of the Analy High School Community, where her daughter, Maya, is a senior.

Sheila Blanc Member at Large
Sheila Blanc is a busy single mom of 3 kids; a graduate and a sophomore at Analy and an 8th grader at Twin Hills. She has served on the THUSD site council for several years. She is also a seasoned real estate professional. She loves the flexibility of her job schedule, because it allows her to attend most of the sport activities with her 3 busy teenagers. Having earned top producing awards in sales, she finds life’s most rewarding accomplishments are balancing career, family and giving back to the community. Sheila also owns and lives at the family home in Sebastopol with horses, chickens, a corgi and the kids. She is very grateful for the superior education that is available here for the kids in Sebastopol. Sheila posses great organization skills, fresh insight to fundraising and is a welcomed addition to the Analy Education Foundation.

Pam Carpenter Member at Large
Pam Carpenter has been involved in the arts and education for over 25 years. She served for many years as adjunct professor of Fine Art and Design at California College of Art and now teaches art to elementary and middle school students in West Sonoma County. Professionally, Pam is a graphic designer specializing in print, web design, and digital illustration. She and her husband, Alan Stoltzfus, have lived in Sebastopol for 10 years. They have two sons. Gabriel is a senior and Guthrie is a freshman at Analy. When she is not teaching, designing, or volunteering for education, Pam likes to hike and garden.

Katheryn Fong Member at Large
Katheryn "Kathy" Fong is a native of Boise, Idaho where she attended public schools and moved to San Francisco in the 1960s to attend SF State University and received her B.A. and M.A. in International Relations. She has had over 30 years of corporate leadership with United Airlines, Wells Fargo Bank, PG&E, Kaiser, and Fireman's Fund in the customer services area. She and her husband Andrew MacInnis, a CPA and budding Angus rancher, moved from San Francisco to Sebastopol in the fall of 2006. The move was championed by their daughter Amy who is a sophomore at Analy. Their son Bill is a sophomore at UC Davis. Kathy has been on the San Francisco YMCA Board of Directors, the San Francisco Education Fund Board, served as a Commissioner on the San Francisco Human Rights Commission, and has volunteered with many other non-profit organizations.

Bob Fried Member at Large
Originally from L.A., Bob moved to San Francisco for medical school and has lived in the greater bay area since. After finishing training, he and his wife Pam spent a year running a small bush hospital in Papua New Guinea. They have called Sebastopol home since 1988 and have two teenagers at Analy High School. Bob now works at Kaiser and spends his free time studying guitar, playing tennis, biking and pursuing home improvement projects. He has volunteered with the school system in a variety of ways including being on the Pinecrest Site Council, working to establish an anti-bullying program there and now working with AHSEF.

Molly Matheson Member at Large
Molly Matheson and her husband Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation Executive Director Dan Schurman moved to Sebastopol from San francisco in 1991. Having moved almost every year while growing up she is proud to say she hasn't changed her address in 16 years. She is currently an Adjunct Librarian at the SRJC where she also teaches an information literacy class. Molly and Dan are parents of two daughters: Emma, a 2006 graduate of Analy who currently attends Bard College in New York and Michaela, an Analy sophomore. Molly, a confessed fabricaholic and quilter, also enjoys cooking and working in her garden.

Patti Stack Member at Large
Patti moved to Sebastopol with her husband Paul Rosen and their daughter Elizabeth from the west coast of Florida in 1994 where they owned and operated a successful restaurant. Patti attended the University of Miami and then graduated from Tante Marie’s Culinary School in San Francisco. She is a former member of the Twin Hills Apple Blossom Educational Foundation and is active at the Sebastopol Community Center. Her daughter Elizabeth Rosen is a junior at Analy.

Lynne Tripathi Member at Large
Lynne Tripathi has a busy career at Kaiser Permanente, Santa Rosa, as a sleep medicine case manager. She has lived in Sebastopol for the past 30 years with her husband, Todd Parker and their two children Kendall and Tynan. Tynan is now a freshman at Analy and Kendall, an Analy graduate, is completing her senior year at Scripps Women’s College. In addition to her active professional life, Lynne has for many years been vitally involved in volunteer activities supporting education, in particular the performing arts. She is dedicated to the goal of creating opportunities for students to explore their academic and creative potentials. On days off, Lynne can be found spending time in the outdoors with her family. She enjoys a good cup of coffee, gardening, cooking and knitting while listening to her husband Todd, an accomplished composer and songwriter play the piano.
