Thank
you to all the teachers, staff, support organizations and students
who submitted grant applications to AHSEF this 2007-2008 school
year. We were able to fund $70, 768 for books, equipment and
many projects which enhance education and student life at Analy.
Please read below for details about our funding process for the
past two years. Every year, Analy High School Education Foundation
spends many hours consulting with teachers and administration
about how to best use the money the Analy community
so generously donates. Because needs change every
year we carefully review our funding process so that
we use funds in the most effective way. Our goal
is to enhance the educational experience of every student at Analy
High School.

AHSEF ANNOUNCES ITS FUNDING PROCESS 2007-2008
The AHSEF Board has decided to use the same funding process for this year that we used last year. The goal is to determine relatively accurately and quickly what funds all of you need, and then make our funding decision as promptly as possible. The timeline is fairly tight, with the application
due in three weeks, by April 25, 2008 (please
submit to Alicia Mills in the principal's office). That timing
will allow AHSEF to make a final funding decision by the end of
this school year. Funds will be available by June 11. Recipients
will have until the end of February of next year to spend their
funds.
In response to requests from many of you, the online application
is now set up so that it can be completed at your computer. Please
do type your answers rather than write them by hand. The process
is simple: Just access the application through the link (above
or below), and save it onto your own computer. You can then complete
the form, print it out, collect the necessary signatures, attach
any supporting documentation you'd like us to consider, and submit
it to Alicia Mills.
Please make sure you complete an application and submit it by April
25. Even if you provided us with information
through the department head process or through other means, we
need you to submit a competed application. That will ensure our
process is fair and thorough.
Thank you again for your participation in our funding process.
We look forward to receiving your applications.

Analy High School
Education Foundation Proudly
Announces
AHSEF Funds Awarded 2007!
The Analy High School Education Foundation is now two years old. Thanks to your help,
we raised nearly $50,000 in donations this past year. Funds came from parents, local businesses
and our community through our school registration Annual Campaign, the Phone-a-thon and our own “Local Color” event. We are proud that these donations have been used to purchase
classroom materials for every department at Analy High School.
In 2006, AHSEF provided over $40,000.00 for major computer equipment and software
upgrades throughout the school.
In 2007, Analy High School Education
Foundation purchased the items listed below for
Analy High School students.
Thanks to the hard work of many volunteers and great community support, we have
had a very successful first two years. Thank you!
