Baskin Robins to benefit Analy Kids with SWEET Fundraiser

Every First Sunday is now "Analy Sundae"

"I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream" when Baskin Robbins benefits our Analy HS Education Foundation with a monthly fundraiser. Sebastopol’s BR 31 Flavors gives 20 percent of all sales on the first Sunday of each month to the Ed Foundation. So far more than $300 has come back to the school! That’s more funding for a host of Analy programs and classes.
Get your family, your friends, your team, your club and your neighbors and meet up at the Gravenstein Highway North ice cream shop  on May 6, between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m.  And this summer let’s rendezvous on June 3, July 1, and August 5 for a sweet treat and an Analy reunion.
Don’t forget you can order an ice cream cake in advance, think Mother’s Day and Father’s Day! Pay for it that day and 20 % will go to better your school in so many ways. Yum, Yum!...please come and join us for some scooping fun!! And don't forget to thank owner Martha Lindt for her generosity to AHS when you stop in!

The Second Annual Online Auction Has Ended with Great Success!

Visit the Auction Site here: AnalyHS Auction Site

This year we increased our earnings from the auction by over 70% from last year.

Analy AuctionThe AHSEF Online Auction is now closed....so now it's time to celebrate! AHSEF raised about $11,000 with the 2011-12 auction, which is $5000 over last year - a 71% increase! And you made it happen, with your participation and continued generosity! These funds will go a long way in providing funding for all the projects, items and opportunities that our Analy students and staff would otherwise not be able to enjoy! We hope you take great pride in that! A special thanks goes out to our amazing community members and businesses who generously donated all of the auction items that you are now enjoying!  And thanks to the great work done by our Board Members who worked for months to bring this about!

Sebastopol Hardware "Shop for Analy" event great success

Our "Shop For Analy" evening fundraiser at Sebastopol Hardware Center was a HUGE success! Analy will receive about $1,300 in cash and has already acquired more than $300 in products for the Eco-Action, Maker and woodship classes from the evening event as well!

Sebastopol Hardware generously opened their store after hours, for 90 minutes for Analy supporters to shop, and gifted 20 % of the sales to our Analy High School Education Foundation! Generous shoppers filled wish list needs from some classes, buying everything from shovels & tools to duct tape and a drill, soddering material and more to help our students thrive with what they need in class. The owners were very happy with the results and are looking forward to next year's event, as are we!

A special thank you to Sebastopol Hardware Center's Mark Sell, Doug Bishop, (an Analy grad!) Karen Jones, Chris Sell and Mike Bishop and all of the folks there who helped us pull off the event. And a shout out to our founding board member Jane Krensky for helping us reach out to organize this celebration of local business and education.

When you're in the hardware store this holiday season, be sure to thank them for supporting Analy High!

Analy HS library extends hours thanks to Education Foundation

Analy library booksA school library may have been taken for granted in flush times, but being able to access the invaluable resources contained within its quiet, studious walls has become almost a luxury in today's economy.

Due to state budget cuts, Analy High School — among others — started the school year off with reduced library hours. The library was originally slated to close every day by 2:30 p.m., which would have impacted students who needed time to study in a quiet place after school.
